The WFCU Centre includes a 6,500 spectator ice rink, three community ice rinks, a new community centre with 2 gymnasiums and a senior centre. This wonderful facility was designed to host special events, concerts, multi-level competitive tournaments and to provide a variety of venues for community meetings and activities.
The project included a wide range of sign installations including interior and exterior identification signs, illuminated advertising signs, wall-mounted and suspended directional signs and signage along with a variety of informational signs.
Superior Signs & More, the project's primary signage contractor, installed the majority of signs including hundreds of illuminated advertising signs, directional signs and identification signs. We even produced the Retired Players' Jersey Banners which proudly hang from the rafters, rendering original designs created by Hargreaves, Mandel, Stewart, a local advertising agency with whom we enjoy a very successful professional relationship.
We enjoyed working closely with the project's general contractor, PCR Contractors Inc. - Collavino Construction Company, on this exciting and challenging project. Our continuing diversification and expansion during the past year enabled us to satisfy the many signage requirements this project entailed. As we continue to grow, we look forward to additional challenging new projects.
